Brief Bio
Regina Lenart-Gansiniec is an Assistant Professor at Jagiellonian University, Institute of Public Affairs, Faculty of Management and Social Communication (Krakow, Poland). She is expert in open innovation, knowledge management, clusters and public management of the Ministry of Economic Development (Poland) and Ministry of Economy (Poland). She has been an expert witness (areas: sales, marketing). Regina is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Economic Processes Management (Sumy State University), International Journal of Contemporary Management (Jagiellonian University), Journal of Management and Marketing (Publishing Society Ltd., Zilina, Slovakia), Business and Management Studies (Redfame Publishing). Regina is a member of the Institute of Public Affairs, (Australia), The American Society for Public Administration, International Research Network, European Society for Research on the Education of Adults, Polish Economic Society, European Academy of Management, European Group for Organizational Studies, European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management. Her research interests include open innovation, crowdsourcing, knowledge management, and organisational learning in public organisations. She is the author of publications on knowledge management, crowdsourcing, open innovation and has participated in several research projects.

SCOPE

Web 2.0 tools facilitate knowledge activities such as acquiring, creating, organizing, sharing and saving knowledge. In addition to social media, conceptual models as well as technological or practical methods adhering to the Web 2.0 principles are important when seeking to raise a public organisation's visibility, communication, collaboration. This Session seeks research looking at Web 2.0 models, methods and tools in Knowledge Management in order to support public organisation.

PUBLICATIONS

After thorough reviewing by the special session program committee complemented by members of the main conference program committee, all accepted papers will be published in a special section of the conference proceedings book - under an ISBN reference and on CD-ROM support - and submitted for indexation by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI/ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Engineering Village Index) and Scopus.
